As a child, there was already a creative side in me.

Literally everywhere, at school, at every employer, I was constantly looking for reasons to capture memories, to convey an emotion,

to tell a story.

When I ended up in the corporate sales world, where I learned a lot,

I realized that I was not making optimal use of myself by putting on a hard mask and putting the sensitive, creative part of me aside just to achieve targets, which has been a fantastic learning experience. But it wasn't me.  When I started wandering with a planet earth wallpaper on my desktop, I knew something had to change somewhere. 

I felt there was more waiting for me.

 

At times in our lives when we are confronted with ourselves,

we learn the most by looking at ourselves in the mirror. I found the energy that had been missing for years by picking up my passion again.  And to turn my passion into my profession. Sensitivity and great empathy. What I saw as a weak side in the cowboy world at the time, I now use it as a power element in my daily work. Telling stories, capturing moments and touching people at the deepest soul level. A common thread in my life. Making people happy with the creation we have made together and getting satisfaction from my work.

I come from a family that loves travelling, who have always inspired me to view the world from a broad perspective and to live your best possible life with that view. Whenever I stepped out of my comfort zone, I was triggered by life itself, in a very positive way. The purity of life, nature, animals, landscapes, children or adults with their own unique story. It has always been a great source of inspiration for me. My dream was always to discover the world with a camera in my hand in my most natural way,

and I made that dream a reality.

That is precisely what I do with my clients. Making their story a reality. Everyone has a story to tell, and I definitely don't believe in one size fits it all.

For me, video and photography is more than just capturing some moments with your camera. It's how I see the world, it's the way how I deeply feel something and how I want to transform this into a beautiful story on screen. A real experience.
